Standing outside, watching 33.1 burn, Clark was just glad no one was too seriously hurt, and Bart was safe again. Oliver had more to do, world wide labs were set up by Lex and he and his new team were out to stop them. An offer given for Clark to join them.
Here is where things change. Clark accepts the offer, but explains he needs to look for and capture the zoners, not giving too much detail on what they are. Oliver and the team leave, with Clark. While gone Oliver has bought the old Ross farm and rebuilt. While there is a lot of construction on the house and the barn, more is done underground, making a base in Smallville for them.
By the time they get back Lana and Lex have eloped, going ahead with the engagement and wedding, a lavish reception will be held in a few weeks. Chloe started working for Lana part time at the Isis Foundation and uses the computers there to help track the zoners.
Victor, Bart and A.C. move into the house on Ross farm and work on the base underground. Things are different now. Clark believes he's found his purpose, and the team of cyborg, meta human, and aliens have found a name for themselves. Secretly calling themselves, The Justice League.
