In the aftermath of global nuclear war, a few survivors emerged from the ashes.
Upon these ashes they have tried to build a New World to replace the old, flawed one, and they have struggled against all odds to make sure this new world succeeds where the old one failed.
But the world is still a dangerous place, and even a thousand years have not completely erased the scars of the Last War. Mutated beasts roam the wilderness. Much of the technology that ran the world has been lost and very little recovered. Even humanity itself has changed, and for better or worse, none can say.
