(sorry it took me so long to reply.. It has been crazy here..)
Faceless shadows spoke from deep out in the darkness it was only with a bit of pained time did she realize that it wasn't the faceless shadows that loomed above her but more the bitter taste of her own human guilt something she had never allowed herself to savor for it had been a long time since such a normal emotion had been allowed after all it was easier to survive if you didn't have to deal with something as annoying as a conscience but that wasn't the case now that Eomer had forced her taste something she had really never intended to taste her own Humanity.
Perhaps it was her selfishness or something as basic need for survival that told her not to focus on such things. It was more than likely the need to escape the being who held her now.
True the Elf had not presented a threat but as Aizreal learned early on everything has a striking point she might have not provoked his wrath yet but that didn't mean a thing when battle lines were drawn and he and she would find that they are to be on opposite sides.
Friendships where not made in time of war and the only person she could trust so far was herself she wasn't about to put herself in his control to be played as a pawn at his leisure..
Truthful Aizreal had little clue on how the world of elves worked she based his behavior on the only thing she truly knew, herself and that was all she needed to be leery of him.
However that is how fate would work. She might not know what might be in best interest for her salvation but it seemed that didn't matter as all it took was a series of bad choices that would lead her to this weaken state were she could not fight against what might be a needed ally. It seemed that fate would see her stubborn pride and thirst for power and control be eased long enough to see that such gifts were not to be in the hands of a simple girl in the first place.
As voices merged within the deep of the forest she fell to the darkness that seemed to lurk after her head resting against a chest of a being she both feared and distrusted and yet she was powerless to fight against it, little did she know it was fates turning a bright smile upon that she was in such a state as she was stupid enough she would have hurt him if given the opportunity even without knowing what he meant and who he was. What she knew of him was he was male. Well so she thought, the hair still put that in question as she had yet to meet a man that groomed enough to have shiny hair that shimmered in the moonlight after all it was asking a lot of men of her kind not to stink of ale and sweat. Common grooming practices were still considered too girlie for strong men of Man kind they were content in tossing rocks and dragging knuckles to prove their worth. Her eyes eased open and the invading light of his reflection made her grimace and the look at his profile was enough to give her the ability to read that common emotion that was evident on his face. As the darkness swarmed her thoughts she whispers at his ear.
"It is a lonely road your forced to walk, it watches you even now combing away those who long to be at your side. Morning will come and you will find the road ahead is longer still destined for loneliness as you feel your heart cool, is that its tool to see you fail"
Brokenness that she saw in his face was one she could taste. The separation from what brought life was something that still cut like metal fresh from the fire. The pain of her own words caught in her throat as drifted back to blissful darkness only to awaken in the strangest of places. Granted it wasn't a stable or shackled to some village’s fool bed but in a place that itself was a dreamlike state the softness of the mist that seemed to make breathing hard well that was till she awaken with a gasp kicking away some soften cloth that had a touch as soft as spiders thread which was the cause of a abrupt awaken state.
Wide eyed and curious she found herself gawking around her only to find two sets of eyes giving a curious look back at her as she had sprouted horns or something.. Simply she stated her fear.
"I thought I was stuck with the spiders again" The first calm set of eyes she knew only from a prior meeting he had not hurt her he had saved her so it was not the elf that was met with a vicious glare. The other who she didn't know nor did she have any want of an introduction all she knew was he was obvious human and the last one she met stood with that aristocratic stance didn't mesh with her let me alone philosophy in fact she narrowly escaped him and the last thing she wanted was to be found much less by a short mangy looking ruffian who had the looks that he would sell secrets for a crust of bread.
"I didn't ask to be moved. Why have I been brought.” and as if their answers were to be found insufficient to her standards she barked an order. “I wish to be returned immediately.”
(please forgive the nonsense rambling as I try to re-learn how to make a decent post -dies of humilating post slaughter-)
