Galloping madly they both took off across the plain. Looking back Alayna saw the Nazgul were still following her. Speaking to her beloved mare in elfish she asked her to go faster. Leaning farther over her neck she earged the allready tired mare on. They had been chased for almost three days already and they are both very weak. The mare neighed loudly as she still kicked it up a beat trying to go much faster than she allready was. Looking back she saw the Nazgul's horses move right with her mare. The next thing she knew a knife skimmed her upper arm. Letting out a cry of pain she almost got unseated right there. Looking ahead blood streaming down her arm she saw a familiar looking river. Knowing that it was safe though she didn't know how she earged Atlanta towards it. Plunging into the river looking back on the other side she laughed as she saw them all stop in fear.
Suddenly Atlanta let out a cry that seemed to say something to the water. A huge wave decended over the river taking all the Nazgul with it. Looking closely she noticed that the wave was shaped into horses. Massive white horses. Trying to concintrate on the water she noticed that she was beginning to get very dizzy. Without even a thought she fell over her startled mares neck. Still seated Atlanta knew that she had to help her loving lady. She knew the gash on her arm was the cause of her sickness though Elves weren't supposed to get sick. There was something in the blade that was causing her to black out.
Atlanta moved effortlessly over the terrain as she knew there was a city nearby for she had been here before. Coming around a bend Atlanta stood stock still the breath taken away from her. She now remembered what this plave was. This was Lorien. Moving a tad bit faster the sweat caked mare stood infront of the entryway neighing loudly as she waited for someone to come out for her master. Becoming frantic she felt the breathing of her master becoming more and more shallow. Tossing her head madly she whinnied in frustration as she waited for someone to arrive.
