The young hobbit lass trotted to the Hobbition Lake on her chestnut pony, Morning Star. She halted when her mare stepped on the emerald colored grass and looked at the shining water with her hazel green eyes. A sigh of content came from her mouth. She dismounted Morning Star, and led her toward the lake
" Wow, it is a beautiful sight, Morning Star. The lake. It is very peaceful ". She sat on the bright grass.
" I need to escape from the Shire. I need to go out in the world. I do not belong here. Some of the other hobbits make fun of me, just because I am one of those adventurous types. But not Sam or Frodo. They are nice ". She smiled slightly at the thought of the two hobbits she had met at the Green Dragon.
" I just wish.....that something unexpected comes popping along the way. I WANT to go on an adventure ".

"You are very much right, lass. It is a star of the Shire." Gandalf replied as he strode up beside her," Especially right when the reddened sun is about to set and it's slanted rays just skim the pacific surface of it."
Gandalf silently walked over to stand beside the young hobbit lass, admiring the placid lake in the midday sunlight, bordered by fields of healthy and lush grass. In an omniscient remark he added,
"Are you a Took? You do seem like one, wanting to go on adventures. I can see the special glint in your eye. If you would like to, I would be glad to take to shall you all that you wish of the world, it is good to know. It is so diverse it would be a pity not to see it all in one's lifetime."
He he carefully extracted his weathered pipe from the tattered folds of his faded blue-gray robe, lighting it swiftly with a dash of pipeweed. He then began to puff heartily, sometimes blowing a random shape as he did so. He waited patiently for the girl's answer.

The brunette haired lass almost jumped in fright when she heard the voice. She was just so deep in thought. For a moment there, she thought it was only her, but now there was another with her. She shook her head when he asked the question.
" No. I-I'm a Banks ", she replied to the wizard in a nervous, unsure voice. It was kind of strange, really. She has never seen a wizard in The Shire before.
When she heard about going on some adventure with him, she stood straight up from the ground. There was a twinkle in her eyes, one where you could to tell that she was excited about it. " Wow! I don't know what to say........erm...yes! I would love too! ".
She was as happy as a hobbit child on his or her birthday. She couldn't believe that she might be going on an adventure with this......this wizard! The only problem was that she did not know his name.
" If you don't mind me asking, what is your name? I am Lithoniel, but Loni for short ". She watched as he blew random shapes from his pipe. " Wow. How does he do that? ".

"Do not be frightened, little lass, I am but an old friend of all the Shire. It is good that you accept, as I too am eager to travel the wide-ways of the world. My name is Gandalf. If you should like you should you want to go and ready yourself for the journey, as it will be an extended one, even though we shall make stops."
He side-stepped a bit, and gazed down intently at the wide valley, admiring it's interminable beauty. Then suddenly, he whistled. It was an entrancing whistle, with several notes to, and all-in-all, very melodious.
From far-off, there can a slight sound of swift galloping, then closer, and closer. Finally the source of the repitive galloping was seen. A gleaming white horse, with liquid black eyes was staring intently at them, patiently waiting for any sort of various command.
Turning back to face the Hobbit, he stated," What is your decsion?"

Loni gazed at Gandalf's beautiful white stallion. She snapped back to reality when the wise wizard asked what was her decision.
" Umm... ". She looked at her chestnut pony, Morning Star. Did she need anything? Was she all set?
There were two saddle bags on her pony, one on each side. They will filled with some bread, cheese, and a little bit of jam. It would probably be enough for the adventure.
The lass turned back to Gandalf and nodded. " I don't need anything....I guess I am all set ". A smile appeared on her finely carven face. She went to her little pony and mounted the mare on the left side. She was holding the reins with her right hand. The left was laying at her side.
Lithoniel was just so excited about this trip. No more boring shire life for her. She was going on an actual journey with Gandalf! The hobbit could just imagine on what places they would venture to. Probably they could go see the great elves, or venture to the dwarven halls, maybe even see man!
Loni looked back at the colorless stallion, then to Gandalf. " He's a beautiful animal. What is his name, if you don't mind me asking ". That was Loni for you. A hobbit who has some deep passion for horses and ponies.

As Loni replied timidly in a cordial manner and diligently accept, Gandalf's sharp, yet ancient features lit up, his dep blue eyes glinting in the falling sun. "Well then, we shall set off at once, you and I. Have you any idea of where you would like to ride to initially?" Watching the hobbit with ease, he recognized the eager tone in her voice as she spoke and faced him. With a firm gate, he strode over his intelligent Shadowfax, and rapidly mounted him with uncanny swiftness for one such as of his age. Donning his well-knitted gray cloak, he answered to his companinion,"Shadowfax. He was sired by princely horses and may be the best in the world." Whispering to the silent horse, he asked it to trot at a slow rate, and so Shadowfax did so. He gestured for the sweet hobbit to follow as he went on.

" Shadowfax ", she repeated in an almost dreamy-like voice. " That is a beautiful name for him, Gandalf ". She clicked for Morning to go. The little pony went at a trot, until she was riding beside Gandalf.
" As for the first place to visit.......I'm not really sure ". There were just so many places to visit in the world of Middle-Earth. She just couldn't choose. " I would love to see the elves again... ". She sighed a dreamy sigh. " I would love to go see the elves........to Rivendell then? ". She glanced over to the grey clothed wizard, wondering what his reaction would be to that.
It has been a while since she has seen the beautiful race. The last time she saw them, she was about sixteen years of age. She went with her parents, sister, and brother to go see the elves. The hobbit would never forget the wonderful times she had with them.
Now, her parents were gone, dead. She was now living on her own. She moved to Hobbition, while her sister, Eruanna stayed in the Barrow-Downs with her brother, Suiadan.
