Who does that Lobelia think she is anyway? Harassin poor old Mr. Bilbo the way she does. I see her sneaking round the back when I'm tending the garden. She better not step on any of my flowers or she's gonna get it I tell ya. Some day I'm gonna leave a big hole...well not big or it'd be noticeble, a small hole but deep, right on her path! Woudn't that serve her right!? Ok so I would never really do that but it'd be no more than she deserves. All I have to say is I hope she never gets her hands on the deed to Bagend. I just know she doesn't have the sense to keep a gardener and that old hag of a hobbit would never get down on her knees and pull weeds. It'll be over run in a month's time I tell ya!!! No I won't let her. Well I suppose there's nothing I can rightly do. Let's just hope it never comes to that. Between her and those hobbit children trying to see if they can dig up old Mr. Bilbo's treasure, hobbits, including Lobelia treading were she's not wanted, are a bigger nuisance to this garden then all the critters in Middle Earth.

Frodo sat dreamily at the window. It had been a while since Bilbo had left now, and he was still not used to the emptiness of the house. Smiling as he heard Sam muttering to himself in the garden, he called out to his old friend.
"Sam!" he laughed. "They say it's bad news when you start talking to yourself!"
Going to open the front door, he gestured for the gardener to come in. "There's food and drink in the kitchen, and I've no one to share it with. Why not come in for a bite to eat?"
The sun shone ever-merrily down, lightening the hobbits mood and making him more than a little hungry. Eyeing the plates of cake he had left on the side in the kitchen, he rubbed his growling stomach and waited for Sam to reply.

"Oh, hello Mr. Frodo! I did not realize I was thinking out loud."
I wonder if he heard what I was saying, well he's not fond of Lobelia either and i'm sure won't talke offence...I ponder a moment and then remember the rest of what Frodo said....
"And of course I'd be glad to keep you company, what are you having? I smell cake."
I shuffle my feet and wait for a further invitation though by the look Frodo is giving I am fairly certain cake will be eaten this day. Did I hear a stomach growl?
