How could she explain the feelings in her heart? Something was wrong, but she could not explain what it was, but her intuition told her it was something to do with Aragorn, that there was trouble with the Fellowship. Since her bond with him was so strong that not even distance could stop it, she could discern when things were amiss or unbalanced. When he went away to the North to work with the rangers she could tell when he was weary from battle and when he was strong and able.
At this point in time it was a very strong feeling, as if the sun had decided to stop shining. Aragron was... sad? What had happened to cause this sudden sadness? Not only was it Aragorn, but Legolas as well, and there was a great bitterness also. Exhaustion, sadness, worry... and yet something was missing. She could not place what was wrong, what was it that caused so much grief?
Arwen had been leaning against a windowsill when these feelings over took her, and now she was wandering around the city, feeling lost and cold. Where was her father when she needed him? Where was the comfort she required, the love that would help her manage these emotions that washed over her?

Melody was all by her self. The dark elf sighed a little. She felt cold at times and warm at others. She walked into the city with her hood over head hiding who she was. Her eyes saw so many being roaming round. The wind blew at her tatty and bloody cloak. As she walked with her weapons hidden on her, she could feel something was not right. What was it? She could not tell. It felt something like she had known from before. She didn't really care that most was looking at her blood soaked clothes. She looked a right mess covered from head to foot in orc blood. But she made a vow never to join the dark lord. And so far it had worked. No one even dared go near her. She stopped when she came to a stall. It was selling something she loved. And that was a necklace.
As Melody looked at the necklace she thought of her old home. She remembered nothing more then a face. It was as if she couldn't remember, and that made her sad. But she smiled non the less. She stood back up and was about to walk away. That is when she felt someone put a sword to her neck. "Come with us and we will not kill you" The male voice said but Melody knew better then to let herself get caught. She used her sword and the guy's sword was thrown to the side. He looked scared and soon run off. The others gasped and gave her a weary look. Melody didn't care and was soon gone. She had walked off but was still in the city. It was big and she knew they would never find her. Oh how she was happy about that. Still in her bloody cloak she walked until she came to a seat or bench. She sat down and gave a little sigh her sword had long been put away and was once again hidden.

Arwen was so wrapped up in her thoughts that she did not hear someone else approach her, nor did she hear them sit down. It was many moments before she even opened her eyes, and she didn't even comprehend that they had been closed to begin with. She was standing at a small alcove, overlooking a small pond of water, in one of the quieter quarters of the city. Behind her, a dirty elf sat on a bench, looking a mix between frightened and complacent, and it was very strange to behold. She turned slightly, her dress catching around her ankles and creating a train that did not exist.
"Girl, who are you?"
Her question left her lips before she even wanted it to, and it was not phrased the way she desired it to be. Her tone of voice was more shock than comfort, and she silently reprimanded herself. Shock was better than scolding though, and she looked at the girl with a bit of pity. There was a lot of blood on her cloak, and Arwen decided not to guess where that had come from. Elves were running too far these days, when they should be protecting their homes and listening to the lands. The ways of the elves were dying out, and a few radicals, some like the girl in front of her, she assumed, were taking more to the ways of men than they should.
"These are my father's private gardens," she said softly, pointing to an inscription on the stone near her. It proclaimed the gardens surrounding to belong to the house of Elrond. "But you may stay, as we are always welcome of guests," she added even softer, her mind flirting back to the emotions she had felt only moments ago. Her mind was still very troubled, and she was disparagingly depressed.

Melody looked at Arwen calmly. Her eyes held a lot of pain and sadness. She gave a smile and said. "Sorry I was lost for a moment in thought. I am Melody milady and to whom do I have the honor of speaking with?" She asked, she had not smiled but had kept a blank face. She was tall as all elves was. She looked at the she elf. She looked like all the other female elf's she had seen. She was tall and lovely yet she reminded Melody of herself when she was younger. So calm and graceful oh where had it all gone? She sighed a little before saying in a quite and calm tone. "What is troubling you? You seem to be lost in very deep thought." It was the way Melody talked when she saw others of her kind with a deep love in their eyes.
It normally made Melody hate herself. Or feel some sort of pain in her heart. She had yet to find love. She wanted to but at the same time she didn't want to. She had to keep alive and had to find some sort of way to live. She hoped that no one not anything evil would find her. Sauron would want her. He would want her back to hurt others. And she would not allow that. She had said and made sure she would not. She had been careful too as she had killed many evil beings that took orders from the dark lord himself. But she was not happy well not happy until she had came into the hobbit's world.
