There are two different sections of role play here at Lost Fellowship. The rules for both are really rather simple.
General Role-Play Rules
1. Please try to use proper grammar and spelling. If you need help, please ask.
2. Try to keep one character on your account. If you want to make another character, please create another account.
3. Please try to leave different fandoms out of the Lost Fellowship. We do love creativity, but we're trying to recreate Middle-earth, not Narnia.
4. Try and write as much as you can! We love writing here and we encourage it, but we don't want you to force it.
Middle-earth Role Play && Character Rules
1. Minimum posting requirement is one good paragraph - which is five to 10 sentences. We definitely encourage more, but we know not everyone can write as much.
2. We accept Middle-earth style characters. This means elves, dwarves, humans, hobbits, wizards, orcs, etc, but excludes unicorns, faeries, pixies, etc. This includes a blend of the various Middle-earth races.
3. Canon characters are accepted, and liberties are allowed to be taken with the profiles.
4. You must fill out an application to role play in the Middle-earth area. This must meet the requirements and be looked at by a staff member before you can role play.
Endor Role Play && Character Rules
1. Minimum posting requirement is two good paragraphs - each about five to 10 sentences.
2. We accept characters that only adhere strictly to book lore. This encompasses canon and original characters.
3. Only one canon character at a time may be accepted.
4. Applications must be reviewed by a staff member for adherence to book lore. Once assured that the application does in fact stick with lore, the application will be approved and role playing may begin.
5. Applicants for Endor may role play in the Middle-earth boards, and if they ask a staff member they may role play there before their Endor application is accepted.
6. You must ask in your profile to have your application considered for Endor. At the very beginning of the profile, when it asks if the application is done or not, write in 'Endor' to alert the staff that you wish for the application to be considered for the advanced role play area. If not, the application will be sorted as a Middle-earth application.
7. Anyone is welcome to apply in the Endor section, and characters from the Middle-earth role play area are welcome to upgrade their characters if they so wish. However, characters and plots must wholly adhere to book lore.
