So, I got a new job, and you'll never guess doing what....
... ok, so, I give. I got a job moderating a forum! Crazy, huh? Well, it was actually a real accident how I got the job.
When I am bored, I play games. I happen to play games on myspace, which is where this company has a lot of games. Anyway, they recently closed the forums where I would go to get help for the game, and opened up privately owned forums - which I went to and got help at instead. Turns out that as I was posting there in between coming to my own forums, I caught the eye of the community manager (who does the hiring) and they asked me if I wanted to moderate full time.
This is no problem - the only headache is that the users there aren't anywhere in the same league you guys are. They're orcs and trolls to my hobbitses, which would be you guys. Gosh, you all make me love you even more. Thank you guys for having brains! It amazes me how little some people actually read when it comes to rules and such.
Anyway, I've been trying to get that all worked out, which is why I've kinda been AFK, but also, I did get sick to the point this week that I had to step away from the computer altogether. I'm back though, and trying to balance work forums with my babies.
