In Middle-Earth, the Dark Lord is rising once more after the last great Battle of the Ring. But something else stirs in the deep forests, an ancient device of which few even have knowledge. For the first time in millenia the device stirs, and from it erupts Men wearing strange garb never before seen on this world...
The Stargate has stood here since Illuvatar first dreamed the songs of the Valar. A race of beings older than time placed them on worlds they deemed would be of use to them, but when Morgoth first arose this ancient race abandoned Middle-Earth to travel to other, more hospitable worlds.
Men of Earth now control the Stargate, and it is a team of such men who enter here, perhaps to help the fight against the Dark Lord, perhaps to hinder it... who can tell?
