Bear with me...
I was thinking its a shame to see a lot of new posters , see little or no response in Middle-earth. This is obviously due to our characters being scattered and perhaps afraid to engage with different folk from far realms unfamiliar. So, that said, what if there were generic 'imp' profile, named, say, 'Orcs of the Mountains', 'Mordor Orcs', 'Fighting Uruk-Hai' with lovely pictures on their profiles to give them some presence (rather than say, myself posting as Thranduil, posing as a werewolf or Dragon ... or Orc.. or what have you - never did feel right.)
So you would have a set of say 6 utility profiles, for which instant action contact could be made... and narratives quickly engaged with new members, rather than simply see them fade away, as so many do.
There have been a few times, I have wanted to jump into a thread (sometimes do...) and play a 'generic' something that people know... does one need a character form for an Orc, really? Most film watchers and readers have a vivid picture, or at least feeling associated with them.
The 'Uruk-Hai' Imp (could call them 'extras' rather than Imps lol) would inspire fear and daring deeds from our characters!
What you reckon Arwen?
I'll hunt down images and make profiles and not add to your workload... will also post more often... and beside, I have all these unemployed Orcs and Goblins here with me, who need to start again in the world of RPG NPCs to make ends meet...
