In the past I've had threads where the players in the community could have discourse on the happenings of their lives. The threads have always been a place of fun and support for anyone who wanted to join in. In general we just be honest and tell each other about what is going on in our lives, like a shared blog. For example, Mary Sue could tell us she wants to go vacation soon, and we could suggest where to go or cool things to do. I'll open the dialogue then. I am not sure how many of you know, but I am going to be getting married this summer. I've been engaged for about a year or so now, and with school ending in June, well, it just made sense to wait to get married until school was out. After the wedding, I will only have to do my wonderful job of (believe it or not) moderating forums, which means that I will have a lot of time while I am online to make new skins for the site, post, and try and advertise a little. But as excited as I am for that, I still have to go through another 15 weeks of school, and get married, and go on a honeymoon. Soyeah, wanted to share.

Congratulations on your engagement! I still go to school as well. My dream job is as an author, but I want to become a prosthetist if that doesn't work out. Although school is really busy, I somehow manage to find time to come on. This summer I plan to go kayaking at the Apostle Islands, as well as working and volunteering. Last summer I went hiking on Isle Royale which was absolutely amazing. It was so beautiful there, and we all had a lot of fun. We actually nearly got run over by a moose the first night out, but everyone ended up okay, which was good. For any of you who don't know, the Apostle Islands and Isle Royale are on Lake Superior.

Thanks! What school do you go to? Prostheses sounds like a really cool job, as long as you don't end up a serial killer like in Dexter. I attend the University of Washington and my major is Anthropology, but I have been specializing in archaeology. I am not sure whether or not I want to go all the way with a Masters or not yet. It's a lot of extra time and more importantly, money. :/ Anyway. That trip sounds like a lot of fun! I think the coolest thing I've ever done over the summer is gone to Virginia to stay with my aunt, which wasn't all that great since I was working full time. Gosh, that was a long time ago now it seems, heh. Are you doing anything fun in the near future? I get the fun job of diving into wedding planning here soon. I still need a lot done, which makes the next quarter of school not seem like a lot of fun at the moment.
