Well, hello! I actually started this site in opposition to the teeny RPG's out there. I mean, it's all great that people want to play their favorite characters from the movies, but here we want to cling to the booklore that was so carefully crafted by JRRT. He put all his life into these novels, creating a world for those of us who need it. Why not embrace these things? And I know that I play Arwen, but I do not over dramatize things like in the movie, instead, I try to take this like she would from the actual character's point of view in the books. If you will also note I have me a nice hobbit-lass, and I love my little lady.

I write a lot of fanfiction as well, but as a perfectionist can't really publish it. (I go back and edit and reedit until the original story is gone.)

Everyone starts out bad in RPG, lol, especially when they've jsut seen the film and wants to be an elf!! But it is sad when people dig their heals in and refuse to improve, or refuse to even make an effort, Ive seen so many sites and posters, and I know you have too, its enfuriating. Usually you would expect good writers to raise the bar and make people want to post better, I know I do, the better people around me are the better I want my posts and characters to be. But then you get the kids who want legolas to unhook their bra so she can have his babies and it makes me cry.
