As the title says... Yo!
So... LOTR... interesting. It's been a while since I had one of those.
And it's all Frodo's fault! And no, I don't want to be Sam! *eyes Frodo*
Now, the question is... which old character shall be revived? Which one shall be pulled out of retirement? The rather annoying guy from Gondor? Or the crazy nut from Rohan. Or maybe, maybe... I should reactivate the oldest, crankiest she-elf you people have ever seen... Decisions. Decisions. Decisions.
Hello by the way ;D
And yes, it's all Frodo's fault.
EDIT: I just did that Mary Sue list. Now that was fun.

Thanks Thranduil Ah... Melody... Dark elves aren't really a single species. A silvan can become "dark", when they refuse to journey back. Any elf from any of them can become "dark" and... unwilling, aka Avari. Looking at the Mary Sue list... say... can I be Gandalf's evil twin/clone? It doesn't appear anywhere on the list, so it should be okay. Na, just kidding

Well I want a charater that is half of one thing and half of something else. Like Half Elf Half human. Hmmm maybe I will make her half human, what do you think? I wounder if I could make her look like an elf and have her as half dark elf half human. Hmmm Needs thinking. I think I will tweak my charater.

Half elves are extremely rare in Middle Earth. It's not like in D&D where they're their own race.
And well, you're either an Avari, or you're not. You're either unwilling to sail to the west, or you're not. There are no such mixtures in Tolkien's work. The Avari are not a race. They are just a small number of elves who refused to sail back. They're individualists, they don't have settlements. They're not like the Drow.

I see well I have updated my profile. And I made it so that she is still half dark elf but in a sense she chose not to sail back and chose to have the elf life span. She is now half human ^_^; hope it looks better I have to update the part of coures so that she chose not to sail back.

That would be Bob's job. He's good with giving baths and foot massages. Exactly what a Ring Bearer needs after a long day of trotting through the lands and after those exhausting five meals a day, or was that six meals a day?

He'll love it!
And errr, no offense Melody, but... there is no such thing as a half dark elves. One is either a Moriquendi or not. Not to mention that true half elves in LOTR are about as frequent as full sets of Mithril armor found along the road. And well... how do you get from the Shire to Umbar... the rivers from the Shire aren't even remotely close to that area. Also, how would an elf live near/in the Shire among men and even mate with one and then be an Avari? Doesn't make sense to me, but that's me. No idea how the admins see that, but, to be honest... if they're really going after book lore in the way it is stated, then I doubt that character will pass.

Well I have thought about that and somewhere a human took her from the river to Umbar.
