Synopsis:
The Northern lands started off as a peaceful place, providing homes for two packs. Arshigo was one that kept to its ways while Keva'al was one for the more devious sort. Similar in size and strength to each other, they ignored each other and went about their own ways that they held. On one day, however, the Keva'al strayed close to Arshigo lands, chasing after a wolf to taunt and torment for their enjoyment. The Arshigo pack did not take kindly to the disturbance or the close proximity of the Keva'al pack and their treatment of the tortured wolf. For the first time, the packs clashed as Arshigo took action against the group of Keva'al, but it wasn't the last.
The seemingly small clash soon developed into a full battle between both groups, both infuriated with how the other had behaved. Seasons passed as minor battles between scout groups of both sides only heated up the argument. Finally, it all came to a head in one violent confrontation. The whole of each pack was involved this time, and being so evenly matched the fight lasted hours as both sides lost lives, neither relenting. Things looked grim for both packs with no clear winner or end in sight, until the Arshigo alpha and Keva'al alpha encountered each other on the battle front. The fight between the two leaders was the most intense of all, but there could only be one winner.
Arshigo became the victor, demanding the Keva'al leave the northern lands. The remainder of the Keva'al complied, now under the leadership of the deceased alpha's son, but not before vowing revenge on Arshigo for what had occurred. After the last of the Keva'al had departed, the Arshigo wolves made a promise to themselves that they would never get involved in matters outside their lands again, no matter how close to the borders they occurred. Thus they remained that way for generations as other groups moved into the slowly healing Northern lands. A clan of lynx was amongst these, going by the name of Levisaer. The group was friendly and curious, often trying to convince Arshigo to become closer friends, Arshigo always declining. The other group that arrived were the Dirac, another wolf pack. They were mischievous and enjoyed pulling pranks on anyone, from the Levisaer clan, to the Arshigo pack, to wandering loners. Fun and games were their thing, though from time to time their jokes would go too far.
The lands the Keva'al had once inhabited were left abandoned as no one ever chose to claim them as their own. That is, until one day, when a band of strangers silently made their way into the lands unseen. Though the group was small in numbers, the Kava'al pack had returned after their generations of exile, plotting their next move. News of their arrival spread only recently to the remnants of the Arshigo pack. What will come next is completely uncertain. The northern lands are harsh enough with the swings in weather through the year, and now the Keva'al have thrown their plots into the mix. Where will you stand as twilight falls?
