Don't we all wonder what it is like in a world we have never seen before? Whether born into a new place or a wandering soul, it is always a new experience. This place may be far away, or nearer than you might think. There is something about a world, however, that is fragile, and is so easily broken...
The Moon Goddess, Eiki, watched from her palace in the sky, surrounded by all forms of mythical beasts. But she knew they did not belong there on the moon, a cold place where they had only themselves to interact with. There was little colour on the moon where they were forced to stay, and she hated how they had to hide when people sent others up to their home or their little contraptions to circle around it.
So one day, Eiki built a stairway the descended down to Earth. She had heard from the Sun God, Aterus, that the moon looked beautiful from the Earth, and that there were many more places on that planet where her children could run and hide away from people. Delighted, she made this stairway lead to a place she called Deimos, a land meant specifically for her children.
The fantasy creatures went down on the staircase, coming to their new home. They were awed by the magic that filtered through the ground here, as well as the gorgeous landscapes. Their first day, they sat watching the sunset, amazed at how much different it looked from there. And when new creatures, even sometimes humans and canines, came down from the moon, they would share their knowledge with them.
But everything peaceful must come to an end at some time...
The Raiden Grounds had been the land of the humans, but as some traveled farther west, they came across a world scattered with canines from foxes to wolves, sometimes even escaped pets that had become rabid out in the wild. By the number of dens, those who journeyed there took it there were packs nearby, scaring them to move onward.
When they left the land of the canines, Prometheus, they came across a new area. The place they came upon next had crystals that rose from the ground, beautiful waterfalls, and things unimaginable to their minds. But when they ran across some of the creatures, they became enraged, except the humans of Deimos. They were curious of these people that looked like them, and at last the barrier shattered.
Clans were made against the creatures they believed were “evil,” and some would allow ones they didn't see as evil to join, even if they had come from the Moon. Some fantasy creatures also created these clans against the ones that wanted to destroy them. Packs sprouted up as well, canines of the Earth and Moon sometimes forming together to protect their lands from others. And then others did not wish to be a part of such turmoil, becoming wanderers or trying to settle down in a place of their own.
And even though they are in such wars now, it was no always so. All it was happened to be the fact the humans of the Earth did not know their original home had been with Eiki on the Moon until they were sent to make these lands bearable to live on. To fit in, the humans of the Moon had to join them, and go against their dearest brothers and sisters...
Those who know the truth, those who try to spread the truth, and those who deny the truth.
What will you choose?
