Has anyone read these works in their entirety?
I think they are marvelous and very vivid 'folk-lore' of the Sil era. The language is beautiful and they give a great insight into the culture and times of the first age, both Sindar and Noldor. I read the Lay of Luthien again last night and it reminded me that it is probably my favourite of the HoME series...
